The Breck School Athletic Hall of Fame respresents a cooperative effort between the Alumni Association and the Athletic Department.  The Athletic Hall of Fame is the first of several recognition areas that are designed to foster pride and spirirt in Alumni and in the Breck community.  The Hall of Fame is created with the expressed purpose of honoring those individuals and teams who have represented Breck in excellent fashion.

The purpose of the Breck Athletic Hall of Fame is to recognize and honor those alumni, coaches and other members of the community whose athletic accomplishments have been of the highest caliber and have brought great credit to the School.

Permanent members of the committee are the current Athletic Director, a member of the Alumni Council Executive Committee and the Director of Alumni Relations.  Appointed for a three year term will be at-large alumni and faculty members.


All alumni candidates must be considered in good standing with Breck School.

The following criteria may be used in selecting individual candidates.

  • At least a fifteen year waiting period from graduation before a candidate could be considered eligible
  • ​Candidates must have lettered
  • Candidates should have been acknowledged on the local, conference and/or state level
  • Candidates may be an individual conference champion
  • Candidates must have accomplished outstanding records


Del Carter '50 Memorial Award:
Candidates for this section will be recognized for outstanding service to Breck athletics over a period of years.  Candidates can include coaches, trainers, equipment managers, teachers, administrators, trustees, etc.
