Voterama
Breck Upper School students that are a part of the community partnership group, Voterama, have been focused on voting rights and creating a culture of voting among first-time voters this fall.
Voterama is connected to several non-partisan voting rights organizations, including When We All Vote and My School Votes. As a non-partisan student-led group, they organized voter registration drives at Breck this fall and supported students to register, and helped faculty and staff check their voter registration status. Student efforts focused on creating an environment of strong civic participation, especially with voters ages 18-29.
Students like Graham B. '25 and Oliver P. '23 enjoy learning about voting issues, helping eligible voters register, and engaging in ways to participate in the election system.
