No Social Media: A Song

In this video, Amrita '22 shares her original song "No Social Media" that she recorded as part of interest in the arts. Amrita is passionate about writing her own songs and shared she wrote this song upon her entrance into the social media world — just two months ago.

"I only got social media around 2 months ago so I’ve been shielded from a lot of the beauty standards that can come with being a part of the online world," shares Amrita. "I’ve been told that, because I don’t have social media, I’m lucky in a sense because I don’t have to deal with the insecurities that can come up from having it. I noticed that I still struggle with so much self-doubt without its use, and I wanted to write a song about how I was feeling. Songwriting always makes me feel better!"
