New Faculty: Jeremy Kes, Middle School Science
Welcome to Jeremy Kes, Breck's new Middle School science instructor! Mr. Kes received a B.S. in Human Development and Family Science from NDSU, B.S. in Elementary Eduation from Valley City State University, an M.A. in International Education from State University of New York–Buffalo, and an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from American College of Education.
We ask Mr. Kes to explain his passion for teaching. He told us, "Helping students develop their own meaning of the natural world is my passion. I am motivated when students share and discuss their ideas and teach one another. Those moments lead to actions that can leave positive impacts on the world. Now that's inspiring!"
Over the past eight years, Kes and his family have lived in three foreign countries. He says, "Living abroad has been a wild adventure, but I am glad to be back in my native Minnesota. Also, I enjoy being a dad to a two-year-old boy."
