NCWIT Awards for Aspiration in Computing

Congratulations to Caroline P. '22 and Trisha S. '23 on receiving NCWIT Awards for Aspirations in Computing! Aspirations in Computing is an initiative created for women in grades 9 through 12 by the National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT) that serves all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and U.S. military bases overseas. It is a welcoming and supportive community that encourages interest, training, and careers in computer science. Way to go, Caroline and Trisha!

Acknowledging 9/11 — 20 Year Anniversary

Later this week will be the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on the twin towers in New York City, a significant and traumatic event for Americans and people around the world. Melody Fox Ahmed, the Director for Global Studies at the National Cathedral School invites educators to use the occasion for both remembrance and education.
