Gowns4Good: Drive-Through Grad Gown Collection
Did you know that grad gowns are an effective alternative to personal protective equipment (PPE)? In response to a shortage of PPE, Breck School is collecting re-purposed graduation gowns for healthcare workers. Do you have a gown to donate?
Here's what you need to know:
- Do you have a gown to donate? Ask family, friends, and neighbors to search closets, etc. Ask them to donate their gown if they have no future need for it.
- Wash the gown on the gentle cycle, then hang to dry — the gown must be completely dry. Fold it and put it in a Ziploc bag. Write the size on the outside of the bag (if known).
- Bring your gown to a drive-through collection event at Breck School on Saturday, May 9, between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Click here if you need directions to Breck School. Collection boxes will be curbside - you won’t have to get out of your car!
