Gowns4Good: Drive-Through Grad Gown Collection

Karyl Rice

Did you know that grad gowns are an effective alternative to personal protective equipment (PPE)? In response to a shortage of PPE, Breck School is collecting re-purposed graduation gowns for healthcare workers. Do you have a gown to donate?

Here's what you need to know:

  1. Do you have a gown to donate? Ask family, friends, and neighbors to search closets, etc. Ask them to donate their gown if they have no future need for it.
  2. Wash the gown on the gentle cycle, then hang to dry — the gown must be completely dry. Fold it and put it in a Ziploc bag. Write the size on the outside of the bag (if known).
  3. Bring your gown to a drive-through collection event at Breck School on Saturday, May 9, between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Click here if you need directions to Breck School. Collection boxes will be curbside - you won’t have to get out of your car!
