Four students perform in All State Honor Bands
Congratulations to James H. '23, Matthew M. '25, Trevor C. '27, and Tao M. '28 who will be performing this weekend as a part of the All State Honor Bands!
Matthew M. '25, Trevor C. '27, and Tao M. '28 auditioned for and were accepted into the grades 9 and 10 Honor Jazz Bands. They have been working on their music since the beginning of January and met as an ensemble for a one day rehearsal ending with a concert in early February. They will perform on Friday, February 17 at the Minnesota Music Educator's Association Midwinter Clinic at the Minneapolis Convention Center.
James H. '23 auditioned for and was accepted into the All State Symphonic Band. This has been a year-long commitment for James — he auditioned last February and was notified of his acceptance in April. In August, he spent a week in the All State Band Summer Camp, where he met and practiced with musicians from all over the state. The camp concluded with a concert showcasing their music. James and the Symphonic Winds will perform on Saturday, February 18 at 3:30 p.m. at Orchestra Hall.
Congratulations again to these accomplished Breck musicians!
