Dr. Christopher Murray '80
Breck's 2004 Distinguished Alumnus Dr. Christopher Murray '80 is currently a Professor of Global Health at the University of Washington and Institute Director of the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME). He's recently been involved in the development of COVID-19 forecasts in the U.S., the U.K. and Europe. Models developed by Dr. Murray and his team have been used by the White House, state governors, and national news outlets.
After graduating from Breck, Murray attended Harvard University where he was awarded Bachelor of Arts and Science degrees. He received a DPhil in International Health Economics from Oxford University, and returned to Harvard for medical school.
