Breck Students Recognized in the National Merit Scholarship Program
Five Breck seniors have been recognized as Semifinalists in the 69th annual National Merit Scholarship Program, including Sam B., Henry G., Noah G., Corinne M., and Andrew Z.!
These Breck students join less than one percent of high school seniors across the nation with this distinction after earning the highest scores in Minnesota on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. This spring, they will have the opportunity to compete for 7,140 National Merit Scholarships worth nearly $28 million.
In addition, seven Breck seniors were named Commended Scholars, including Nick B., Noah D., Anna I., Anjneya K., Will M., Meghan M., and Enrico P.! While these students will not continue in the National Merit Scholarship competition, they are among the 34,000 students nationwide who are recognized for their exceptional academic promise.
Lastly, two Breck students earned academic honors from College Board’s National Recognition Programs, which acknowledge the strong academic achievements of underrepresented students. Enrico P. received the National Hispanic Recognition Award, and Ivy M. received the National African American Recognition Award.
Please join us in congratulating all these incredibly accomplished students. The Breck community is so proud!
