Breck Junior Finalist in Fed Essay Contest
Sahaha Mangipudi '21 was one of 30 finalists in the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis 32nd Annual Student Essay Contest.
The contest was open to all high school students in the Ninth Federal Reserve District. This year's writing prompt was "Free Trade: What to do about the "losers"?"
In the description, students were challenged to answer the questions: "What, if anything, should the government do to address the adverse consequences of free trade for some firms and individuals?"
Sahana's history teacher is Lori Merrill.
We're challenging Breck families to join us for a Summer Read-a-thon during the month of July. Proceeds benefit The Sheridan Story.
