Jake Lindberg Receives University of Chicago Outstanding Educator Award

Jake Lindberg, Upper School English teacher at Breck, has been named a recipient of the University of Chicago Outstanding Educator Award.

An Outstanding Educator shapes young minds in meaningful ways—thoughtfully approaching instruction, sharing an infectious love for learning, and caring for students both inside and outside the classroom. Each year, newly admitted University of Chicago students are invited to nominate an educator who made a significant impact on their education and whose influence helped bring them to where they are today.

The University of Chicago is honored to recognize excellence in teaching and congratulates this year’s Outstanding Educator Award winners, who serve as role models for curiosity, integrity, and lifelong learning. The University deeply appreciates the lively, inquisitive minds that these educators have nurtured and inspired.

Award winners receive a commemorative plaque, certificate, and a letter detailing the student’s nomination. Breck joins the University of Chicago in celebrating Mr. Lindberg’s achievement and his dedication to inspiring students both in and beyond the classroom.

Please join us in congratulating Mr. Lindberg on this incredible accomplishment!
