The 2026 Alumni Class Reps
We are excited to introduce you to the 2026 Class Reps, Kelan McKay ’26 and Veda Rao ’26! These two are terrific people, and we are so excited they will keep the Class of 2026 together for years to come!
What are your plans next year?
Kelan: I’ll be attending New York University’s Shanghai campus next year and plan to major in Global Problem Solving on a pre-law track.
Veda: I’ll be attending Vanderbilt University next year, with the goal of studying Medicine, Health and Society, and Public Policy.
What Breck lunch will you miss?
Kelan: The Cubano sandwich and French Onion Soup.
Veda: I’ll miss the All-School Cookouts!
Words of advice for the rising Breck seniors?
Kelan: To the Class of 2027, stay present and soak in all the memories. Stay on top of deadlines, but take time to be with your classmates. Reach out to those you’ve never talked to, form new connections, and strengthen old ones. Most of all, have fun!
Veda: My words of wisdom will be to stay present, especially during the second semester, because it goes by fast, and to trust that everything will work out in the end.

Each spring, the Breck community gathers for one of the school year's most meaningful traditions: Staff Appreciation Day Chapel. This year's celebration centers around this year’s Chapel theme of Courage. It was a joyful and heartfelt occasion, bringing together students, faculty, and staff to pause and recognize the people who make Breck such a special place.
