I am a shareholder at Winthrop & Weinstine, a law firm in downtown Minneapolis. I represent banks in commercial transactions around the country that involve tax credits, which is almost always real estate. I focus on affordable housing, new markets tax credits (designed to create jobs in low-income communities) and historic tax credits.
