Anne Meland Skemp '89

Anne Meland Skemp - Pediatrician - South Lake Pediatrics

Anne Meland Skemp is a member of the class of 1989.  She has been a pediatrician at South Lake Pediatrics since 2000, seeing patients who range in age from birth to college.  Anne attended Breck from 6th-12th grade.  Her educational background also includes an A.B. at Wellesley College, class of 1993, and an M.D. at the University of Minnesota Medical School.  She lives in Minneapolis with her husband Neil and family.  Her three daughters are Ellie, Breck class of 2020, Nina, class of 2022, and Josie, class of 2025.

Reason for participating in the Alumni Council:

As a Breck graduate and now Breck parent, I want to give back to the school that has meant a lot to our family.  I hope that the Alumni Council will continue to foster a meaningful relationship with alumni new and old and also with current students at Breck.  It’s exciting to be a part of alums who want to be stewards of the school’s future.
