Breck School - A Long-Range Plan for the Future

Learn more about our Comprehensive Site Plan
At Breck, we value the relationships we share with our North Tyrol Hills neighbors and the broader Golden Valley community. As we look ahead to the future of our campus, we are committed to transparent communication, thoughtful planning, and strong community partnerships
Breck has called Golden Valley home since 1981, and we are proud to be part of this thriving North Tyrol Hills neighborhood. Our campus is a place for students to grow — but it’s also a space where we host community events, collaborate with local partners, and serve as stewards of shared land. As we plan for the future, we are guided by a simple principle: good planning starts with good listening. We commit to sharing information openly and seeking input thoughtfully.Breck’s campus is governed by a zoning tool called a Planned Unit Development (PUD). Breck plans to update its existing PUD to reflect our 2050 Comprehensive Site Plan.
This is a vision for tomorrow, not a blueprint for today. The site plan illustrates the potential layout and long-term use of the Breck property—it reflects possibilities, not finalized construction plans. Actual building designs, permits, and construction will follow separate approval processes as the project evolves over time.
This page is your go-to source for updates related to our Planned Unit Development (PUD) Application and opportunities to stay engaged. We hope you’ll join us in shaping the future of Breck — and our neighborhood — together.

We believe that good planning starts with good listening — and that strong schools help build strong neighborhoods.

What Is a Planned Unit Development (PUD)?
A PUD (Planned Unit Development) is a tool that helps the City and neighbors understand how an institution like Breck plans to use its land over time. It covers things like building placement, parking, traffic flow, and green space. Breck’s current PUD was adopted many years ago — and now we’re updating it to reflect today’s needs and tomorrow’s goals.
