Breck has called Golden Valley home since 1981, and we are proud to be part of this thriving North Tyrol Hills neighborhood. Our campus is a place for students to grow — but it’s also a space where we host community events, collaborate with local partners, and serve as stewards of shared land. As we plan for the future, we are guided by a simple principle: good planning starts with good listening. We commit to sharing information openly and seeking input thoughtfully.Breck’s campus is governed by a zoning tool called a Planned Unit Development (PUD).  Breck plans to update its existing PUD to reflect our 2050 Comprehensive Site Plan.

What Is a Planned Unit Development (PUD)?

A PUD (Planned Unit Development) is a tool that helps the City and neighbors understand how an institution like Breck plans to use its land over time. It covers things like building placement, parking, traffic flow, and green space. Breck’s current PUD was adopted many years ago — and now we’re updating it to reflect today’s needs and tomorrow’s goals.
