Drew Baldwin '05

I am currently in London for the fall semester of my junior year studying at “NYU in London.” It is fantastic. I am still studying Acting at Stella Adler Studio of Acting in the NYU Tisch Bachelor of Fine Arts Conservatory Program. I am now also pursuing a minor in Producing for Theater and Film in Tisch School of the Arts. I have been in a number of student films and stage productions. I have continued to direct at NYU as I did at Breck, as well as participate in a number of Tisch and Stella Adler Mainstage Plays. I am currently trying to start my own theater company, Happenstance Productions, a not-for-profit theater company dedicated to producing new work with an emphasis on the rapidly changing world around us. I am interested in utilizing technology and multimedia alongside the common language and sensibilities of popular culture. My goal is to be self-employed by the time I graduate and to provide many of my friends and peers with the outlet and opportunity to be a part of producing new work in New York. Only time will tell.
