Testing

The progress of children in preschool through grade four is regularly accessed using a variety of standardized and informal assessments. Breck administers a comprehensive, schoolwide testing program, encompassing annual ability and achievement tests in grades 3-10. The yearly accumulation of test results and faculty observations provide help in the assessment of a child’s performance and potential. Individual diagnostic tests may also be administered by a learning consultant or consulting psychologist to more precisely determine a student’s educational strengths and weaknesses.
