Lower School Day

Classroom teachers plan daily experiences in language arts, math, social studies and science. This planning carefully considers the developmental levels, special needs, skills and interests of children. There is a balance of large and small group activities, independent projects, instruction in processes and skills, exploratory learning, physical movement and outdoor activity. Students have the opportunity to discuss new ideas, solve problems, share feelings and make future plans and goals.

The school day begins at 8:30 AM. Students are dismissed at 3:15 PM. 

In addition to classroom experiences, children meet with the following specialists:
