Upper School Extracurriculars
Each fall the Director of Student Activities produces a current list of clubs and activities. During the first month of school, students have an opportunity to attend an activities/club fair. The administration supports these clubs and views participation in these activities as both supportive of community life and as leadership opportunities.
Clubs
Examples of clubs include the following:
- Film Club, French Club, Global Concerns, Key Club, MLK Committee, Model UN, Multicultural Club, Quiz Bowl
- Publications: Ars Nova literary magazine, The Voice student newspaper, Mustang yearbook
- Performance Clubs: Breckapella, Dance Club, Shakespeare Club
- Competitive Clubs: Junior Council, Service Executive Board (SEB), Student Council, Upper School Disciplinary Advisory Committee (UpDAC)

Drama in Upper School
In 2008-09, Upper School actors, singers, dancers and musicians will present two plays in November: The Crucible and Our Town, and the musical Fiddler on the Roof in March.
