• Expand vocabulary and study the culture

Culture Camp provides the opportunity to learn and speak Mandarin Chinese or French, while exploring the cultures from which these languages originate.

From the first day, you will explore culture and language. You are actively engaged in learning through art, history, literature and music. Develop new vocabulary and cultural awareness—all while having fun! Smaller course sizes allow lots of opportunities for speaking practice and cultural exploration. NEW! Fun Around the World (CC-303)

Ever wonder what it would be like to venture across the globe, experiencing different countries, cultures and languages? We’ll use song and dance, field trips,  stories, sports, snacks, games and activities, and venture to different places, experiencing similarities and differences. Your international snack shop will have  taste treats from around the world. You’ll learn that all cuisines wrap things up to eat them. You’ll have an Olympics and become contestants from various  countries. Finally, you’ll perform and record a mini-concert with songs we learn. Taught by Jodi James, Breck faculty.
