Summer Programs

We are excited to share our summer with you! Building on our long tradition of academic excellence, Breck Summer Programs offers high quality, fun and innovative programs for all children in the Twin Cities community. All programs are based at Breck School and take advantage of the rich variety of resources within—two performance theaters,

studio arts spaces, nature ponds, athletic fields, dance studio, swimming pool and more. State-of-the-art computer technology is integrated into many  aspects of Breck Summer Programs. Breck School is located just minutes from downtown Minneapolis and near the main thoroughfares of Highway 100 and Interstate 394. This summer we have new additions and exciting enhancements to our full-day and half-day summer programs at Breck!

• Our popular Camp Breck program includes students entering preschool through 2nd grade in our fun, recreational and educational summer adventures for younger campers—including Red Cross Learn to Swim swimming lessons. Full and half day options are available.
• Our Jr. Adventure Camp program, for students entering 3rd and 4th grades, builds on the adventures of Camp Breck and adds weekly field trips to fun Twin Cities locations.
• Our Adventure Camp, for campers entering 5th to 8th grades, offers two-week courses that provide a variety of opportunities that get campers out and into the community while learning and experiencing the Twin Cities, the subject and themselves. An overnight opportunity is available in Environmental Explorations.
• Culture Camp includes afternoon cultural activity programs for students entering 1st grade through 3rd grade. Campers have the opportunity to study Mandarin Chinese, French or other cultures from around the world.
• Camp à la Carte expands this year with many new offerings and continues to allow campers to design their own camp experience. Morning and afternoon specialty classes, for 1st through 6th graders, can be mixed and matched to create the perfect summer camp.
• Practice and improve tennis, lacrosse, soccer, flag football, floor hockey, basketball and golf skills in Sports Camp.
• Find that perfect math or reading and writing course in our newly designed tutorial based Summer Academy. Academic classes are offered to children entering grades two through four.
• Take advantage of before and after camp programming in our Camp Club program. Camp Club is available mornings starting at 7:30 AM, and afternoons until 5:30 PM.
