Library
Breck offers three library/media centers, one for each division. Resources for all three can be located in Alexandria, the school's web-based software. In addition, access to the internet and online databases augments the physical collection of books, periodicals, audio books, videotapes and DVDs. The Library/Media department is committed to ensuring balance in media across the scope of the collections. Its program of integrated instruction is enhanced by special events designed to highlight the pleasure of reading and the quest for knowledge, including our annual book fairs, author/illustrator visits, exhibits and promotions. The Lower School Birthday Book program gives children an opportunity to share a gift of a book to the Media Center in recognition of their special day.

Book Fairs
Each of the divisions holds a Book Fair each spring. A wide variety of books are available for students and parents to purchase. Students use their library time during Book Fair week to shop and charge their purchases to their school account. Students and parents discuss a spending limit before the Book Fair.
Here is the Book Fair schedule for the 2009-10 school year:
Lower School
The week of March 1, 2010
