Breck Celebrates Chinese New Year

A number of photo-worthy events will take place at Breck in celebration of Chinese New Year.

• On February 4 and 5, kindergarten and second graders will host a Chinese New Year tea party in their classrooms at various times of the day.
• On February 5 at an All-School Chapel, Breck seniors in costume will lead a dragon dance, an international student from Shanghai will perform the Chinese violin and young children in costume will represent the 12 animals in the animal cycle.
• On February 11, families will gather in the Commons area for a celebration that includes a dragon dance, lion dance, fashion parade and many other performances.
