Students Help Promote Census
Several Breck seniors were recognized by the Golden Valley Human Rights Commission at a ceremony on Saturday, January 30 for their contributions to the 2010 We All Count census competition.
Zach Soskin, Elizabeth Whitney and Ben Gislason took First Place and $175 for their public service video, We Want You!
Katie Robinson, Michael Mooney and Tori Vogel took Third Place and $100 for their multilingual series of posters.
Kevin Granzow received an Honorable Mention for his poster, It Still Takes 1 to Make a Million.
Sophie Naranjo-Rivera, Taylor Gesell and John Baker received an honorable mention for their public service video, I am One!
Comments from the organizers included: "Your students are quite remarkable young people" and "This is something that students will appreciate in years to come."
