Pair Takes Third at National History Day Competition

June 19, 2009--It has just been announced that two Breck Middle School students have won a prize in National History Day competition, which has just concluded.

Sophie Burton and Hutton Phillips' group exhibit on Dr. Jane Hodgson took third place nationally.

The Breck students were joined by five others at National History Day: Daniel Bergerson, William Naylor, Alayna O'Bryan, Henry Sanborn and Nicholas Thyr.

This marks the twelfth consecutive year that projects from Breck have advanced to national competition in History Day.
