Breck Seniors Archana Murali and Elena Berman were two of 350 applicants to receive the Honorable Mention award in the National Center for Women & Information Technology Award for Aspirations in Computing. Nearly 3,500 applications were submitted with 50 taking the top prize.  This annual award recognizes U.S. high school women in grades 9 through 12 for their interest and achievements in computing, leadership, academics, and plans for post-secondary education.  Only six other Minnesotans... The Peter Clark Center for Teaching & Learning has been asked to be an Academy School in partnership with the Center for Transformative Teaching & Learning (CTTL) at St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in Potomac, Maryland. By the end of the 2017-18 school year, Breck’s goal is to have all faculty trained in the mind, brain, and education approach using a neurodevelopmental framework through the Center for Transformative Teaching & Learning. On Thursday, November 17, we kicked off our 2016-2017 Speaker Series in honor of the class of 2016 by welcoming Peter C. Brown to Breck. We celebrate many milestones at Breck: the first day of school, partnering of our senior buddies, eighth grade graduation and commencement day.
