Coach Chandra Joos DeKoven submitted this report following last night's Mock Trial win:

Breck defeated Apple Valley 261 to 241 to advance on to the Regional Final round. Joshua Stillman received a perfect score for his closing remarks. In addition to receiving a perfect score for his witness role, Jack Sheehy received special recognition from the judges for his effective portrayal of the plaintiff.

Breck will compete on Thursday, February 23, at 5:30 p.m. at the Hennepin Courthouse in the Regional Finals. The winner of this match will advance on to State Competition.

The Mock Trial team would like to extend its deep appreciation to the Breck administrators, teachers, students, parents and alums who have supported the team, both at Breck and in the courtroom. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
