Breck Upper School science teacher Chelen Johnson (known to most in the Breck community as Ms. J) has been serving as a mentor to a small group of other teachers in a highly selective program sponsored by NASA.

The teachers are carrying out original scientific research -- in this case, using the Spitzer Space Telescope -- for work that will be presented to the annual meeting of the American Astronomical Society.
