Mindfulness Series for Breck Parents (1.0)
Rob Wheaton and Jill Rost will co-lead the Mindfulness Series for Breck Parents (1.0).
ROB WHEATON is a Breck parent of 11-years. His son, Grier, is in 9th grade. Rob is in the final year of his Master of Arts in Integrative Health & Wellbeing degree program at the University of Minnesota. His areas of emphasis are mindfulness, resilience, wellbeing-coaching, and lifestyle medicine. Rob is also among the first to receive the distinction of National Board-Certified Health and Wellbeing Coach.
JILL ROST holds a Master of Education in Counseling Psychology. She is currently a K-12 Counselor serving the Independent Schools in the Hopkins School District. Rob and Jill also hold certificates in yoga and yoga-calm, respectively.
The series dates and general topics that will be covered are:
- April 10 | Everyday Mindfulness
- April 24 | Mindful Parenting
- May 8 | Mindful Relationships and Communication
- May 22 | Mindful Eating
Please indicate below on which dates you plan to attend. You may select as many dates as you’d like. We encourage you to attend all four sessions, as there will be a thread of continuity running through the entire series. The folks who attended all sessions last year have now moved onto the Mindfulness 2.0 series.
Classes will be held from 8:30-10:00 AM in the Heritage Room at the Anderson Ice Arena. Arrive between 8:15-8:30 to mingle and get settled.
