Filmmakers' Statement
Filmmakers' Statement:
Rather than attempt to show the
whole "Breck experience," these ten small stories focus on different
aspects of life at Breck. Some are serious, some are light-hearted,
but all are fast-paced, intriguing, and represent the overall mission
and values of the school.
The target audience is prospective
parents and secondarily prospective students. Using film gives us the
opportunity to provide a virtual visit to the school and to bring it to
life in a way that brochures or static web copy cannot.
Each
piece creates a point of engagement in the form of a universal question
and makes use of a single voice that moves the story through a
narrative. Support footage is used to demonstrate the central theme.
Whether
they watch one film or all ten — in any order — website visitors will
be educated about Breck, learn more about the main idea, and see and
feel the excellence and richness of the Breck experience.
