Multicultural Understandings
Since the 2000-01 school year, Breck faculty have been engaged in a study of education from a multicultural perspective. The process began with deep self-examination, continued with goal-setting, and proceeded to the development of a curriculum that is responsive tot the reality of the society in which our students will be adults.
Each division and academic department has created a list of "Multicultural Understandings," which have been used in large posters placed around the school. We've combined them into a short video, accompanied by a performance of combined orchestras from Breck, and we invite you to watch it and enjoy!
