Breck Perspective
Breck believes that economic, religious, racial and geographic diversity add vital dimension to the student educational experience. We are a community of teachers and students eagerly engaged in learning and a family that instills values and cares about each one of its children. With all grades from preschool to twelfth together on our single campus, Breck affords numerous opportunities for interaction among students of various ages. For example, first graders and seniors are paired for monthly activities and to sit together in Chapel. Sophomore biology students and kindergartners learn together as “Bio-buddies." Fourth graders serve as lunchtime helpers for their preschool and kindergarten classmates.
Mission and Values
Breck's mission and values guide both the vision and everyday life of the school.

Religion at Breck
Breck is an Episcopal school. Unlike an Episcopal church, our congregation is multi-religious with a majority of Christians and a significant number of students and adults from other religions.
Our goal as an Episcopal school is to nurture the spiritual development of each person and to welcome everyone to our community.

Community Service
Learning through service to others is an integral part of the Breck curriculum, culminating in our one-of-a-kind Wednesday program in Upper School. Each week, students and teachers in the Upper School travel off campus to serve people in need, developing the kind of relationship that is only possible with regular, face-to-face contact.

A Strong Sense of Connection
With our beautiful, single campus, Breck students have many opportunities to learn and grow together. For example, first graders and seniors are paired for activities throughout the school year. Sophomore biology students and kindergartners are "bio-buddies" who work together monthly. Even alumni from different generations carry the tradition forward after graduation.
