Lower School After-School Programs

For Lower School students, there are two primary after school programs available: Extended Day and Mustang Club. For families for which after school care is helpful, Extended Day is a quality after-school childcare program for students in preschool through grade six. Under the watchful eye of experienced staff, children play and work in a challenging, stimulating environment in a relaxed, non-stressful atmosphere. Extended Day is a place for friendships to continue in familiar Breck surroundings. Registration is required and space is limited. Families are encouraged to register early if this programming is of interest to your family.

Another after school enrichment opportunity is Mustang Club. This free of charge program is for students in grades 1-4. Typically, Breck offers three sessions per academic year (fall, winter, and spring) and each session is five weeks long. Course offerings vary and meet once a week, on Mondays until 5:00 pm. In addition to the courses offered, students may also sign up for Chess Club which is an eight week program and does carry a fee.

If you would like to participate in Breck’s Extended Day or Mustang Club program, or would like more information, please contact Katie Peterson or call her at 763.381.8234.
