Welcome from our Head of School
As the 16th Head of School, I am honored and humbled to steward the purpose, people, and programs of this extraordinary preschool through 12th grade School. Ours is a warm community with a strong history of commitment to academic challenge and social responsibility.
Across our campus you will find constant examples of our enduring mission and values. In our engaging classrooms, sprawling athletic fields, imaginative visual arts and performing arts spaces, and in our beloved Chapel, our stellar faculty meets each student with personalized care, pushing them to stretch as they learn, grow, and develop. We believe that ensuring pastoral care where each student feels known, safe, and encouraged is the key to pressing them to academic, athletic, and artistic challenge and success. In a loving environment, students take risks to achieve at the highest levels.
We are deeply committed to creating an environment where at each stage of their development our students grow and learn to understand they are an important part of a larger community – our School, our city, our country, and our world. We are all a part of the greater good. Our School’s founding and history evidence an unparalleled value in the belief that we garner strength from diversity. We celebrate our differences and form life-long bonds because of our unwavering dedication to being an inclusive community.
While you can learn much about our School from the pages of this website, I hope you will visit Breck to see and feel our community first-hand.
We look forward to your visit.
